Cows are designed to eat g...Thanks for the comment!
Cows are designed to eat grass and green plants. Their digestive systems can handle SOME grain, but not a full diet of grain. The cows from mass production dairies have very short lives compared to healthy grass-fed cows.

Nowadays, we have a very high rate of milk-protein allergies. CAFO cows are fed genetically modified corn and soy.People who are proponents of traditional foods (like me) believe there is a direct correlation between the two. --This is what I was referring to when I said the milk protein changes.

According to Nourishing Traditions, little scientific research has been done on this. However, something must be wrong if in this modern day and age so many people can't digest milk. Additionally, most of these same people who get sick from store milk can drink raw grass-fed milk without a problem!

The bottom line is that cows are meant to primarily eat green grass and plants. What happens when humans feed cows something they would not naturally eat?? Well, I'd say it changes the milk and makes it difficult for us to tolerate and stay healthy.
I hope that clears up what I said in my post!CorrynNoelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06369547456869345731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2014830979556727098.post-46019360962730606372011-11-11T08:50:28.812-05:002011-11-11T08:50:28.812-05:00I see that you said the fact that corporate cows e...I see that you said the fact that corporate cows eat grains and soy changes the protein a cow produces --> "CAFO cows are fed exclusively grains and soy feed, which changes the milk protein."... Is grass rich on protein or does it just help the cow produce or break down the protein? When you say it changes the type of milk it produces, is it for the negative? If so why is it that grain/soy impairs the quality of the protein the cow produces?Eduardo Javier Ramon Montanezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05415459013152697289noreply@blogger.com
